Laura Tonatto Perfume and Laura Tonatto Fragrances
Laura Tonatto was born in Turin, Italy, where she still lives and creates fragrances. She inherited her ‘nose’ from her grandmother and perfected this skill first with Hassan, a master perfumer in Cairo, in 1983, and then with Serge Kalouguine, at the Parfumerie Fragonard in Grasse, Provence. She still goes back every year to enjoy the intoxicating fragrance of freshly picked cabbage roses. Laura Tonatto has been creating perfumes since 1986. It all began in a small shop in Via Brera, Milan, where she was soon visited by her first important customers, people who were looking for a made-to-measure fragrance. Through the years she has created custom fragrances for discerning clients such as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
