Arpege perfume by Lanvin
In 1927, Jeanne Lanvin created the perfume Arpege dedicated to her daughter Marguerite. Lanvin Arpege perfume is the story of a mothers' love for her child.
This maternal love is represented by the Arpege perfume emblem, unique in its kind: a woman and child, representing Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter, in an attitude full of loving tenderness.
This emblem later became the symbol of Lanvin. The emblem was inspired by a 1907 picture, showing Jeanne and her daughter going to a ball. From this, the artist made a drawing that he subsequently stylised and immortalised on every Arpege fragrance bottle to this day.
